  2. Saute onions in 1tsp of butter until translucent.
  3. Crush approx a sleeve of Ritz crackers w/ a mallet.
  4. Add sauted onions and crackers to the crabmeat mixture and mix by hand.
  5. To make perfect patties press mixed crabmeat into a 1/4 measuring cup.
  6. Should make about 13 patties and refrigerate for 15 min.
  7. Preheat vegatable oil until 350°F.
  8. Cook patties for about 2 min each side or deep fry until golden brown.
